Which team you most enjoyed playing against: Sandwich, Westerham, always close, high scoring games

 

 

Best memory of Playing for Frindsbury: First game v Tovil. Fred Ridgeway was playing for Tovil and I remember Colin saying , in Fred’s hearing,  “ I think Gordon’s going to get more out of this wicket than Fred today”. Fred did his best to knock Colin’s head off ( he was still pretty lively) but the skipper got a 50. Great memory.

 

 

Any other memories/stories: On tour, a myopic (well, he was an umpire) Pete Watt  sitting up in bed with his button up vest and on the same tour one of our number waking up with two black eyes ( which he had not gone to bed with !!)
