So another season comes to an end with a fairly good second half to the season seeing FCC finish a respectable 6th. If we had all our players available regularly maybe we could have made the top half, but every team suffers from this throughout a season.
We finished off with a tough win vs Sandwich with Rob Sait again the star with 90 not out, the bowling was okay but the fielding ( from the skipper himself mainly) was average. A game played in good spirits as was the common trend this year. The league was strong this season with everyone capable of beating each other, but im glad we pretty much gave every team a good game along the way.
Frindsbury have some excellent youngsters coming through and the future looks bright, with special mention to Matt Palmer who looks mature beyond his years!
Well done to Rob Sait for over 600 league runs!
